Wanted to let you know that Barb arrived tonight safely...and I am happy to finally have a roomie! Looking forward to spending time with her the next few days.
We had another visitor arrive today that told us he will be bringing a trailer full of watermelon tomorrow morning. We just smiled and thanked Jesus for more blessings. The fun part is that after he leaves,we will be loading up the van and truck to deliver some watermelons to other orphanages that have hardly any food as well as nursing homes and a church on the poor side of town. The kids are so excited to share their gifts from God with others!
Gotta quickly tell you about this family I met at DIF. It was a pastor and his wife and children. They are the result of a missionary from the states that went to the mountains to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them. The mountain people did not like him because he talked only of one true God. In fact, one night the people of the village (including the guy who is a pastor now) decided to burn the missionary's house down. When they walked up to his house, he said there were "many Americans surrounding the house...all tall and strong". They were afraid to do anything. Shortly after that they all got saved...and the one man is now a Pastor in the mountains. When this pastor got saved, he asked the missionary why all the Americans were there to visit him. The missionary said that he had no visitors...and it was clear that angels surrounded him and protected him. Isn't that so cool? What a great BIG God we serve!
Gotta get some sleep. Hopefully I will have time to share more tomorrow! God bless you!

What's wrong with this picture? Fred and I are here and Barb's at Lily. Go figure. I just had to smile when I read about the next load of watermelons and the protection the Lord provided. We just have to step back and let him go to work. I have to say we're getting excited about spoiling some more grandkids. Thanks for everything and love on those kids for me please.
