Looking back...

The "MI-KEN-OAKIE Team aka the "A" Team minus 3 great team members...John, Sid and Pastor Mark

It's your guess...what gloves were Micahs?

We were all suffering from "Lily Withdrawls"

Larry and the team heading back to Michigan...

Vito's full-time job... :) What a trooper...with a smile!

As I was posting on the last blog update while at Lily I became sick with a cold/flu type of thing that took me down. During Friday, my last day, I spent most of the entire day sleeping. I was not able to take tons of pics or say my 'good-byes' to the kids...which was hard. As you read on the last posting I was hoping to quickly recover and take lots of pics for you, but that did not happen. Today is the first day I feel human again...only to realize that my Prince is now coming down with the 'ick'. So, I apologize for not closing with tons of pics like I had planned.

This past trip to Mexico was truly amazing. I was able to work along side a tremendous team, love on Ed and Rosa while following God's leading to get Marcos and Alberto to the states. Was all of that on my agenda when I left? Absolutely not. But this trip has taught me to dream and pray bigger than ever before. My Wild God is not finished yet...and neither am I.

How can you continue to pray for Lily? 1) Mama and Papa need continued wisdom, strength and physical endurance daily...as well as the entire staff. 2)I know that donations have been low and we need to pray for money for food, utilities and transportation expenses. 3)They are in desperate need of more staff. 4)Healing for all the broken hearts, 5)That many will come to know Jesus through Lily's ministry. 6)Ramon's continued healing from the burns(physically and emotionally).
7) To get 'orphan status' for many more children so they may be adopted.

It was during this last visit that God has been speaking to me about the majority of children who will never be adopted. "What are you doing for them?" He kept asking me. Please pray for my ministry thoughts to be for all the children and not only those who might be adoptable. Gary and I recognize that we need to seriously learn more Spanish so we can have deep and intimate conversations with these kids about surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ. Enough of our Spanish 'baby-talk'. We need God to give us the gift of Spanish language so we can communicate His love for effectively. That's what it's all about!

I'm beginning to realize that many times we just need to be available and yielded to God and then just "get out of the way"- Al for the Mouls
