Transformation...

This is a place of new beginnings...where pain and misery is slowly stripped away. Somehow you see things clearer...God seems nearer and speaks deeply in one's heart. Today God has been working in the hearts of many. Lives has been changed...and I listened to a sweet girl tell me about her decision to follow Christ just an hour ago. Tears were flowing down her cheeks as she told me about her peace. Several teens and children have been searching and God is working. I am thrilled to be at a place where the Holy Spirit is moving and I can sense His sweet presence.

Yesterday evening the girl's soccer team played a team from Chihuahua. Although they didn't score as many goals as the other team, our team came out on top in our opinion! We were so proud of them and cheered them on like a bunch of lunatics! No regrets! They all piled in our vehicles on the way back to the home. Dawn shared how Adriana leaned her head against her shoulder and the tears began to flow down Dawn's cheeks. Even the teens need to have that shoulder to lean on...and for a small moment in time, Dawn was a Mama to Adriana...and Adriana was a daughter to Dawn...and Jesus smiled.

I had a DIF appointment today and Satan tried to fight it, as ususal. I told them that I could meet them at any time this week except for Tuesday afternoon since Belem was flying in. So when was my appointment? Two in the afternoon today (Tuesday). Belem was supposed to be here by 1:30, so the plan was for us to pick her up at the airport and then all of us would go to DIF for my meeting and then head back to the casa. Well, Belem's flight was delayed an hour and so we headed for my appointment. It really began to rattle me because I was being dropped off and didn't know if I would have a ride home. I grabbed a phone and some money in case I needed to find a bus as we were trying to find our way to DIF from the airport (we were going to rely on Belem for the quick cut across town so we didn't have to backtrack). To make a long story stort, I made it to my appointment 10 minutes early and it was a good meeting despite my frazzled mentality. DIF is presently working on terminating the rights of 18 different families and I am pumped. (I cannot share details on this, so please don't ask yet.) Great things are happening and God gets all the glory. BUT...let me tell you...I gained a few more white hairs today. I'm going for all pure white look!

Some money was donated for a new vehicle down here and they purchased one today. (By the way, we had to purchase a new tire for the bus and 2 new tires for the van! But they are up and running now. Thank you, Jesus!) Gary helped them as they narrowed down the search for a vehicle and they are very pleased with it. Jaime and Nico were Mama and Papa's drivers as they made many stops in Chihuahua throughout the day. Jaime and Nico wanted to see Chihuahua...AND BOY DID THEY! =) While they were doing that, Pedro, Dawn, Gary and I went to the market to purchase fruit, vegetables and meat for the children. THIS IS MY CALLING IN LIFE...SHOPPING. I love it...and so did everyone else. Even the guys enjoyed themselves because we knew who it was for!

I am up writing again while everyone is out for the night. Dawn has her lid on already and Gary and Dawn are now doing a duet. Oh my! The days are SO busy that I am in my room for only minutes...until we all come to the rooms to collapse for the night. It has been good...and we have seen our BIG GOD once again. I will put up as many pics as I can. I apologize for not writing under each pic...but that would require at least 1-2 more hours...and I am whipped.

Mama and Papa will be enjoying a week away due to a generous offer by some very special friends. They are completely exhausted and physically spent from the accident and Papa's surgery. Let's pray for them and ask God to heal them. They have given their lives to help these precious children and we need to interceed on their behalf. Will you help me pray?

Belem is back here and everyone was thrilled to see her. Gary captured a few pics for me at the airport! Keith and Becky...I know you must miss her already, but if you could see the look on these kid's faces because Belem is back...and realize the help she will be, it would soften your loss.

You will notice a pic of the group of kids watching a computer screen. There was a video of the orphans in Uganda playing. The kids are always interested in learning more about other orphans all around the world and their hearts are broken to see others suffer. I love the way these children have a heart like Jesus.

Dawn spoke tonight and God used her in a great way. Everyone's heart was challenged. Westside...she did you proud!

Each time I come here...I get more and more attached to these beautiful people. They are not just my friends, they are my family and I am most blessed. God...you are amazing!

Oh my goodness, 4:45 a.m. will be here too soon! Buenos noches!

Linda, you tell us you went to DIF and you're "pumped" from what you found out and we're not supposed to ask??? Then I see a picture of a broken down Ford truck and I know I really shouldn't comment. But how much temptation can one man resist? I guess I'll leave it up to Fred, he's weaker.

It sounds like things are going well and that makes me rejoice in the power of our Lord!! Keep the pics coming and we'll keep praying.

Rog...the Ford is repairable. If a Chevy truck tried to make it down here...it would be in a scrap pile. Just sayin'...

You know me,I just can't resist. Yes , I am Very Weak. I know where my strenght comes from, and I do stand tall on my knees. " Not by might, Not by power, But by my Spirit says the Lord"
You "kids" quit your squabbling and get busy. You keep those pics coming and free feel to write on them too, and you truble maker, you go to bed with no cookies. Say Hi to moma and poppa for me.
