Our final youth outing was a great night. We won our soccer game (by 1 point!) and then we took them to the new girl's dorm site and had a picnic. We prepared sloppy joes for all the teens and enjoyed their favorite (pork rinds) and hot sauce, cheese curls and soda. The best part is that we enjoyed it around a campfire. The sun had just set when we arrived and it was a perfect evening (temperature wise)...not too hot or cold. Just perfect. Soon all of the beautiful stars came out and God showed off through His awesome creation. We talked about a BIG God...and we challenged the teens who don't know Christ yet, to give Him a chance to prove Himself to them. I could tell by the look on some of their faces that they were considering this. Please pray for these kids. They are the 'throw-aways' of Mexico's society that Mama and Papa are investing their lives in. Jesus can love them and give them a sense of purpose...they just need to give their life to Christ...and put their seatbelts on. When you say "YES" to Jesus, the sky is the limit. Last night before Gary and I fell asleep I asked him, "Gary Loren Beggs...what in the world are you doing in Mexico?" He just smiled and said he would have never guessed it in a million years. Neither would I...but it's the coolest thing!

What a beautiful collection of pictures! Lauren and I were talking today (super frequently our conversations are full of Lily-talk) and she said, "I can't believe Gary and Linda will be back in the States on Wednesday." We agree that it has flown by and we know too well the pain of leaving that place. Forever changed. I pray these last days are overflowing with blessings.
Those last days of errands, cleaning and HUGS are expecially sweet. Memorize those singing voices... I can still close my eyes and hear them singing in my head.
I love you guys, and I can't wait to see you! It'll be wonderful. ;)

Roger told me he was addicted to your blog. I thought how could that happen. So here I am checking it for the 2nd time today to see if you have added anything! What will I do when you leave for Michigan? We are seriously thinking about a group from our churchplant here in Cuautitlan going at Christmas time to visit and minister there. Can you email me an email address for Papa and Mama?
We are praying for you as you say goodbyes and head back home. Or is it really home now?
